Alce Nero Boiled Borlotti Beans (300g)

Borlotti Beans are balanced food, cholesterol-free and particularly rich in proteins and fibre.  The Borlotto variety is a plant with pod-shaped fruits of yellowish-brown colour streaked with red whose seeds are raw, ivory-coloured, with burgundy-brown streaks.  When cooked, they take on a brownish colour and the inside becomes light and floury.  Fantastic for preparing tasty winter soups and stews, and practical because they are already cooked.
