Mozzarella di Buffalo DOP is a fresh soft spun cheese derived exclusively from whole buffalo milk. Produced exclusively in Campania in Castelvolturno in the province of Caserta.
Mozzeralla di Buffalo is traditionally worked by hand, creating the typical round forms one by one by pulling them from the “cagliata”.
The pearly white colour invites us to taste the only mozzarella on the market to have obtained the European recognition of the DOP.
Its unique consistency is characterised by a very thin crust that encloses its exquisite heart of soft fresh cheese, whose aroma is released as soon as it is cut into.
